This paint box opens into a palette offering lots of mixing space with three concave wells for mixing large washes, three flat plate wells for mixing medium size washes and eighteen small slant wells for mixing smaller washes.

The pallets are simply detachable for easy cleaning. The paints are stored in a separate sliding tray which when not in use fits neatly inside the paint box. When used the colours can be replenished from refill tubes of artist’ watercolour.
